Restoration was what brought me to digital photo editing.  I have many old family photos.  Some of them needed minor repair.  Using photo editing software, it is easy to adjust and tweak simple issues found in many old photos.  Sometimes it takes a little longer and more expertise to repair a cherished family photo.

The photo on this page is one I restored for a friend.  It was in bad condition.  It appeared to have been torn into two pieces, taped together, and then a print made from that.  Plus there were small pieces missing.  The two pieces, when taped together, were not matched up correctly.  This was a challenge.  I believe the repaired photo is a big improvement over the original.

In many of my classes I teach photo restoration.  If you are interested in a class or have an old photo in need of repair, contact me for more information.
